Our research group is situated within the Department of Geosciences in the College of Sciences at Virginia Tech. The research group stands on the edge of Earth surface processes, geomorphology and sedimentology, which requires we adopt an interdisciplinary approach. Research concepts, themes, and tools we employ come from various fields including geology, geography, hydrology, and engineering, thus we encourage interactions across the university campus. Our research group often interacts with other departments and colleges, including the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department and the Biological Systems Engineering Department at Virginia Tech. It is encouraged to expand our groups reach across this campus and continue growing relationships at Virginia Tech and beyond.
